Sorvaamo Kivi Oy is a subcontract CNC turning company located in Finland, Northern Europe. Our facilities are situated in the Alkula district industrial park in the town of Suolahti, in Central Finland. We specialize in precision CNC turning, grinding, honing and related services.

* (15.1.2010) 30 years of quality, flexibility and reliability. Sorvaamo Kivi Oy celebrates this year 30th anniversary.

* (26.6.2009) New Goodway GLS-150 cnc-lathe assembled. For more information see our capacity list.

* (26.11.2008) Our company name is now officially Sorvaamo Kivi Oy due to generation change. Other contact data remain same as before.

* (7.5.2008) New Hyundai-Kia SKT21LM cnc-lathe assembled. We have now overall 9 cnc turning centers.

* (12.7.2007) New manufacturing space is complete and taken use. Recently bought machines are also assembled and both began production. A new measuring station make possible precise measurement such as roundness and straightness.

* (8.1.2007) Ordered new horizontal machining centre. More information, see our capacity list.

* (8.1.2007) Ordered new measuring station and surface roughness measuring device. More information, see our capacity list.

* (12.7.2006) New homepage activated. Languages Finnish and English.

* (3.4.2006) The planning and construction of an addition begun. The addition will provide an additional 360m2 (3875 sq. ft.) of manufacturing space. It is expected to be completed during 2007.

* (15.2.2006) The recently bought Goodway MSY-260 CNC-lathe began production. The lathe is equipped with Iemca Master 880 MP bar feeder.
